The hotel is also close to the famous Herrenhäuser Gardens within a tranquil location surrounded by the natural environment of a forest. However the motorway is nearby and it is a short walk to the train station, providing excellent connections with the area. The hotel was built in 1994. It has been a Mercure Hotel since 1998. All of our rooms were renovated in March 2006. At the moment, a new breakfast restaurant is being built.

The hotel provides a 24-hour bar in the lobby and a modern breakfast room. The neighbouring restaurant "Waldgasthaus am Entenfang" serves excellent regional German cuisine. It is open from 12:00 until 23:00.
